Vacation to Big Sandy Lake

We took a trip up North to Big Sandy Lake & stayed at Amy & Eric cabin for the weekend. Kevin, Angela, Kyle & Alex, Mark, & my parents joined us. We had a fun weekend, good weather, some fun in the sun, boat time, pool time & relaxed.  Here is our trip in pictures...

The boys loved playing on the balcony and waving down to us

The boys loved the pool & both would jump in form the side to us :)

Father's Day

Pete is a great dad and the boys just love him. We wanted to get him some fun gifts to celebrate him and the super dad he is! He are a few photos of the boys giving him his gifts :)

Water Table Fun

Now that summer has finally arrived we get outside every chance we can to play or go for walks. Here are some shots from a fun afternoon on the deck :)

20 Months

Colton

Age: 20 Months
Stats: 32 1/2 inches & 23 lbs
Favorite Food: PIZZA! He can out eat Henry & me for that matter when it comes to pizza, he loves it!  And lets not forget fruit snacks, he can throw a 45min fit just to get one :)
Favorite Words: Mama, Sid (the character from their favorite show) &"All Done" repeated until I take away whatever he is done with. His vocabulary keeps growing everyday, both boys can say several words now which is so fun.
Favorite Toys: Big dump trucks that he can wheel around real fast, the toy kid car he drives in the basement, books & puzzels
Favorite Activity: He still loves to organize things but he loves to be read to. He also loves watching & dancing to music videos, if he gets upset this will clam him down.
Least Favorite Activity: Diaper changes, he screams and kicks most mornings...you would think he would know it's the drill and go with it but nope :)
Nicknames: Little Beeper
Signature Move: Flushing the toilet, any chance he can get into the bathroom he will repeatedly flush the toilet.

Henry

Age: 20 Months
Stats: 33 inches & 28 lbs
Favorite Food: Pasta & fruit. He also doesn't dislike any food either ;)
Favorite Words: Mama, Daddy, Papa, Sid (the character from their favorite show), "All Done" repeated. Henry can really repeat any word now which is really fun.
Favorite Toys: Big dump trucks & the automatic wheeler he rides into a wall and continues to push the button as he thinks he's being funny!
Favorite Activity: Getting into trouble!!! Getting into cabinets that are child proofed but he has figured out, locking doors & grabbing any item that is set down that he is not suppose to have within his reach while you look away ;) He keeps us on our toes... I have to have my "A" game on at all times!!
Least Favorite Activity: Time-outs
Nicknames: Big Guy
Signature Move: Locking me out of the house. He dead bolted the door when I took a dirty diaper out to the trash & I was locked out until Pete got home (a good 20mins) & we crawled up on the deck & got in through the sliding glass doors. I was not pleased with his work to say the least!

Fishing

We were finally able to take the boys out fishing to start the summer off the end of May. The boys had been out in the boat a few times last summer but they were not walking then so our experience in the boat this time was much different. They seemed to have fun, they enjoyed being on the water & going fast. Fishing sure isn't what it use to be prior to kids :) As fun as it was, it's not the relaxing experience it use to be. The boys are always very busy but put them in a boat with lots of buttons & the water just over the edge & they are extremely busy! Which means Mom and Dad have to keep a close eye on them at all times. I love that we are able to take them out and that they enjoy it as well. I know it will only get easier as they get older & I hope they love to fish as much as Pete & I do!
