Palm Springs... Spring Break!

We had a great visit to Palm Springs, CA to visit J&J Anderson. The weather was beautiful, mid to upper 80's all week. We had plenty of fun in the sun, we visited the pool almost daily, we went to the Living Desert Zoo one morning, we did several golf cart rides and enjoyed plenty of beverages & food. It was a nice week away from the MN cold, but we are happy to be home. Here is a photo dump of all our fun :)

Happenings...

It's been a busy time for us, we've been trying to say positive about Spring arriving soon and keeping our selves occupied and out of the house as much as we can. Recently Amy and I took the boys to the Children's Museum and they had a ball. This was their first time there and since I had a helper they got to run free, Henry was in pure heaven!!! Their is so much to explore and play with there the boys kept themselves very busy. I definitely plan on taking them back, hopefully next time with Pete.

The end of February I turned 30 ;(  My first age bracket that I'm not sure I love being in. Although many have said their 30's have been their best years, we will have to see about that. I had a casual day with the boys, we went out to a nice dinner and finished the day with some cake.

The next morning Pete and I boarded a plane for Nashville to celebrate my B-day just him and I. I always miss the boys when I'm away but it was a nice break and much needed. We loved our trip, we had a ball seeing all the fun things there and enjoyed some beverages at all the fun bars.

We visited the Grand Ole Opry and took in a show.

We saw the famous Ryman Auditorium

We enjoyed our time on Broadway aka honky tonk bar central... so much fun!

Nashville is such a fun city. We would go back again with friends just for the bar scene. It was a fun time and relaxing. Just what this Momma needed to start off her 30's :) :) :)
