12 Weeks

It's official we are having TWIN BOYS!!!! I was in complete shock as I was certain we were having a boy and girl. We are thrilled and needless to say Pete can't wait till the day he gets to take his little guys fishing.

The bump is starting to show!

Pete came up with a cute way to break the news to family, he took two blue Rapalas (fishing tackle) and put them in a brown bag. We let each of my parents grab one to see what the sex of the babies were.  They were so excited and surprised. The hunting and fishing trips just grew by two!

Here is a up close picture of one of the twins faces, so cute already... must get it from Mommy ;)

Baby B

Baby A

They now have everything developed and just need to grow big and strong by September.

11 Weeks

We had another ultrasound done and the babies are looking great. Both measuring ahead and are developing great. I continue to feel sick but hope this stage passes soon. It is starting to feel more real as my baby bump is beginning... ok maybe only I can tell.  Everything seems to be going well with the pregnancy, we can't wait to find out what we are having:)

11 week ultrasound photos, Baby B on top and Baby B and A on bottom...in that order as well :)

8 Weeks

Feeling crummy these last couple of weeks but it makes it all worth it when I get to see the little ones. We had our first 3d ultrasound at 8 weeks and the babies are doing great. Both babies had a heart rate in the 170's.

You can see Baby A and B, but B is on top in the photo

TWINS!!!

We went in for our first ultrasound on February 29th and found out that we are expecting not one... but two little babies!  Pete began to giggle nervously at the news and I needed a few minutes to digest it. We can't believe that we've been blessed with two babies. It was a beautiful sight to see their little hearts beating. At 7 weeks everything looks great and the babies are measuring ahead.
