9 Months

July has been a busy, fun month. We started out by celebrating the 4th of July at Amy & Eric's cabin on Big Sandy Lake. We spent the weekend boating, playing on the beach, hanging out with family and eating some yummy food. The boys got some cute holiday gear to sport from Grandma Anderson for the occasion. We had a great weekend and some fun family time.

Shortly after the 4th, Pete and I went on a fly-in fishing trip to Canada with some good friends. Grandma Collignon was in charge of the boys while we were gone. Being it was our first big trip away from the boys I was a little nervous to leave them, but I knew the boys were in good hands at home which made it easy for us to enjoy our time away. We had a ball! :)

The rest of the month has been spent with celebrating the local town days, going on many walks, playing, getting into things, exploring every inch of the house that is allowed, petting Cooper... or should I say grabbing Cooper's tail, and communicating more and more. They now can say Momma which make my heart melt! They also continue to do their "Twin Babble," not sure what they say but they seem to understand each other as they respond and laugh as they babble back and forth. The boys have also both discovered to stand in their crib, and they stand to protest bedtime or naps as they feel necessary :)

This month we have introduced more "Big Boy" food. They eat just about any fruit or veggie cut into small pieces. They have also had yogurt, cheese, turkey, ham, chicken, and some pastas. It's fun and way easy to have them feed themselves these finger foods. It gets messy but doesn't require mommy to spoon in every drop which is so nice.

The boys had their 9 month check up at the beginning of the month. Henry coming in at 20# 15oz and 28.5 inches tall (60% for both). Colton came in at 17# 11oz and 27.25 inches tall (10% for weight and 20% for height). Both are doing great, really heathy and growing ;) Colton has always been on the small end since birth and the doctor assured me that everything looks great it just may take him awhile to catch up. Henry on the other hand has been a good size boy all along.  Colton cut his first top tooth this month, and Henry cut his first top two teeth. They are starting to look so much older with teeth now... where did my babies
go??? Tear Tear.

We continue to stay busy and enjoy our time together.  The boys are such a blessing, a busy busy blessing, but lots of fun!
