Thanksgiving

We had a small gathering at our house for Thanksgiving this year. My brother Chad and his daughter Addie, my brother Mark and my parents all came over for the afternoon and evening. We enjoyed watching some football with some snacks... I think Henry ate 5 or 6 pickles :). We had a full thanksgiving dinner that evening, the turkey turned out great as well as the rest of the food. The boys enjoyed eating at their own kid table with real plates and forks (the adult stuff ;)). It was a fun and relaxing time which was needed after a busy month of house building and trips.

Deer Hunting

We had a fun weekend at the farm, the boys love to run. Their most favorite thing to do is throw rocks off the bridge into the water, which was one of my favorite things to do when I was little at the farm. The boys also have a love for tractors and love to see the old tractor in action. Although the boys didn't go on any of the hunting adventures they loved to see the deer (dead) back at the farm. It's always a good weekend spending time with family and carrying on family traditions.

Halloween

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
The boys are into animals and making the animal noises, so it seemed fitting that they dress up as a lion and tiger as they're really good at roaring!! We had a fun day, we visited Daddy at work and Nana's house in the morning. Then after naps we went over to our friends house to trick or treat. Colton really got the hang of it and went right up to the door, held out his bucket and said thank you. He kept a quick pace and didn't understand why the other kids couldn't keep up. It was so cute to see them get the concept and have fun with it. It was a very fun halloween for all and the boys enjoyed their candy treats :)

Fall

We have had a beautiful fall, we were outside as much as possible enjoying the beautiful weather before we get locked inside for winter. Now that the boys are two and able to do just about anything on their own we are able to have more adventures. Everyday we try to go for a walk or visit a park. We check in over at our new house often as things are really starting to come along. We can't wait till we move in and to have lot's of indoor and outdoor space to explore. Everyday it seems they pick up new words and are discovering new things. The first time they saw the moon and knew what it was they were thrilled. We try to stay busy and learn and see new things as often as we can. The boys love to run and play outside and be boys! I try to give them as many opportunities as I can for this. Here are some photos from our fall...
