Our New Home
So we have only lived here a short period of time but we are so happy with our new home. The boys adjusted well, it was as if we have always lived here. They love their new individual rooms and we love all the space. We still have some decorating and landscaping to do, as well as curtains, staining the deck and porch etc. etc. but it takes a few years to get fully moved in and decorated. We couldn't be happier with how it all turned out and I think we did a pretty good job being first time builders, designers and a general contractor.

March
March was a busy month for us. We are finishing up construction on the new house that we will move into the beginning of April. We are also trying to soak up the last of our current house as it is a special place, our first home together as a couple and the home we brought our babies home to. The boys continue to grow and talk more and more. They share just about every thought that they have now, they talk in complete sentences and they have opinions on how everything should be done and when. I've been trying to talk to them as much as I can about moving and I bring them to the new house often. I hope all goes smooth with the transition. To add more to this busy time we took an amazing trip to the BVI with some good friend. We sailed for a week and took in all the sights. It was a great vacation and great stress reliever with all that we have going on at home. Here are some photos from our month...

February
Our February was spent with a weekend up on Big Sandy, finishing things up on the new house, H&C hanging out/getting into trouble while I'm busy packing, celebrating V-day and my birthday. It was a busy month of getting things done as we are going on a big trip in a few weeks, moving just 10 days after we get back and trying to finish the new house in time for us to move directly in. The boys seem to understand that we are moving and enjoy visiting our new house, but I'm not sure how all of this is going to to down. :)

New Years...
We went up to Lake Vermillion and spent time with our good friends Derek & Krissy. They have a beautiful cabin that we stayed at for four nights. The kids had lots of fun playing as did the adults. We did as much outside activity as we could, we snowshoed, a little bit of sledding & some snowmobiling. It was really cold so the kids couldn't stay out for all too long. We did our best to keep inside playtime fun but I think the kids where getting cabin fever by day four. It was a fun weekend away with some good family time :)
Their daughter Ella is such a cutie and were pretty sure Henry has a big crush on her. It was so cute to watch them interact with each other, he basically would do whatever she wanted. If she threw a toy he would go get it, if she screamed he would go talk to her and they would have moments where they would just look at each other and smile. Too sweet!!!!

Train Fun...
The boys got several Thomas the train things for Christmas and they have kept themselves busy with building different tracks each day. Thomas is a favorite right now and it keeps Colton happy most of the day. Henry likes it as well but doesn't seem to focus on any one thing for all that long ;) Surprising right?
Fun at the Zoo...
We have been zoo members basically since the boys have been born, they love to see the animals and our zoo has some great outdoor things to walk thru so the fresh air is great on a nice winter day. This last trip to the zoo we seem to time everything just right and were the only ones there. We got to see many of the animals get feed, the otters were a favorite and the boys would shout out to the trainers to give them more fish. We got to see the big bears right up close and also see the underwater show. It was a great morning out.

Funny Moments...
Henry decided to take his boots and socks off but kept his hood up for warmth, typically Henry behavior. Colton prefers to keep it more together and quietly look out the window.
One of the buys did this... they must have thought the the toy puppy had to go potty!
They are really getting into fishing now, especially Colton, and he was so proud of his big catch.
