Well it's officially September and the boys will be turning one before I know it. I can't believe how quick time has gone. We've had our moments were time stood still, the boys can be a hand full, but overall it has gone by so fast.
Colton is now walking, he still crawls when he wants to go fast, but continues to walk more and more each day. Henry will walk when holding onto someones hands but he goes right to crawling when he wants to move. Colton has been the leader with most of the firsts, it seems Henry learns from him and is close to follow with his milestones. The boys have also discovered the stairs and quickly learned how to crawl up them.
We have fully baby proofed the house at this point, but we let them explore new things when we're their to watch every move. They love to explore, crawl over things, tackle each other, pound on any surface, bang toys together and throw things. They are very much BOYS! They love to play patty-cake and clap. They are always so proud of themselves when they pick up on something and they want to show us how they can do it over and over again.
This has been a really fun age for us. The boys have become a little bit more independent which makes life much easier for us, but they also are really showing their personalities which is so much fun. They laugh and respond to just about anything now, they are just to cute for words.
